Threesome trends

Location of the United Arab Emirates

I am on who finds metrics, statistics of measurement, fascinating. One of the more fascinating trends I notice the vast majority of my readers come from the US with the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and India making up the top five. The next five includes Italy, Netherlands / Holland, Germany, and South Africa. Last interesting group my top 20 countries for readers includes United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Currently I live in the UK and in the past I have lived in the US. Based on my experience, I can understand the US interest. However I am baffled by the UK and India. Granted swingers clubs exist in the UK but I find threesome / swinging is not as popular. Instead I find long-term marriage or committed relationships are not as emphasized in the UK. In addition, I notice, there is a bit more interest in BDSM, dogging, and infidelity tends to be more prevalent. This leads me to question if many of my UK readers are US expats living in the UK. Since US expats, I believe, is the fifth largest immigrant group in the UK.

This brings me to readers in India and this totally “blows my mind.” I know many Indians in the UK and from a cultural perspective, none of them strike me as being remotely interested in the idea of pursuing a threesome.  At least for me, I have to question if in India the idea of threesome is equated with infidelity or if it is popular in an area of India?

The question I want to ask, does anyone:

  1. Why do you feel there are many readers from the US?
  2. Does anyone have an insight or experience with the threesome / group sex scene in the UK that might be able to shed some light on this? Is it primarily US expats or is there a genuine British interest in threesomes?
  3. Does anyone have any insight into India and why there is an interest in threesomes?
  4. Why is the topic of threesomes interest Saudis and U.A.E. U.A.E., at least my impression they are a bit more open to Western influence and do not try to restrict it as much as the Saudis. This could explain some of it but I am interested in reading what others think.

  3. Ok, firstly I am very sorry I don’t know what this site is all about or who runs it and writes on it.
I accidentally stumbled upon this while I was researching.
The India comment about being your top 5 readers amused me so I just had to give an insight.

Indians are closeted EVERYTHING. Gross generalisation ofcourse and in no means offensive.

This is completely MY perspective. I might be waaaayyyyy off, no doubt.

Indians (in gen) are very sensual, sexually forward people and have always been. The ancient architecture in the temples and the sculptures AND the scriptures and the obvious Kama sutra all are standing proofs or that.
There has been and some places still practice polygamy.
The ancient culture was rich with sensuality and eroticism. And in a good way where women were treated as equals and sometimes even above men. In bed and in court rooms.
Long story short, the moguls invaded India and brought with them a very conservative and female oppressive society. Hence the natives were torn between ring themselves am being what their rulers wanted resulting in large number of closet cases.
Then the British invaded and it was a double dose of suppression of sensuality and an actual law against homosexuality was passed by the British during their rein. (Which very recently has been mde defunct)

When all the invaders were gone and after 100s of years of foreign rule… The concept of conservativeness stayed on and formed a new mind set.
But deep down no matter how many generations have passed and no matter what the mouths babble for the sake of societal acceptance, deep down in their hearts indians are and will always be very erotic and sexually experimentative.
Having said that the oppression and societal pressures have only made the forbidden fruit even more tempting and a large number of Indians are slowly breaking their chains and following their hearts.
So it’s no surprise that your site visitors are from India and they are probably experimenting a lot more than the other countries. Yes, it’s hypocritical and under covers and behind closed doors but you see though Indians are evolved the Indian community (adultered by invasions) isn’t.

    • Thanks for your reply and it is nice hearing from our followers, especially India. Having lived in a few countries I find it interesting how the interest in threesomes and various forms of open-relationships varies.

Currently living in the UK and I find ‘dogging,’ is quite popular. ‘Dogging,’ is a form of threesome that is done in public at a secluded public area (e.g. a park that has an area away from the general public – wooded area).

Usually the husband takes on a voyeur role while he watches another male having sex with his wife. Sometimes it is the other male that watches the couple have sex in public.

Likewise any large city in the UK has at least one swingers club but oddly having a threesome in your home is done very discreetly. There is very little outward discussion about having threesomes in the UK but there is a lot done publicly.

When I lived in the US it was very much the opposite. Having a threesome was a lot of times done in the home because there were very few swingers clubs, except in very large cities and ‘dogging’ was not known.

Therefore, I any learning about how each country practices threesome sex and open relationships.
